Wow I was thinking maybe it was dye sub. It’s been a minute since I was pricing things but seems like a lot of money for a dye sub set up.
Unsurprising, the humane AI pin is dead.
it’s vaguely similar to dye sub, but obviously they’ve managed to make it work on a wider variety of materials. not sure what the difference in inks is and why that works tho. and they didn’t really explain (at least not in a way that was obvious to me).
I cant be the only person who thinks they need this ultrasonic and laser wire bonding machine for… something.

I don’t know what I need it for, but I need it.
It is oddly satisfying but I don’t work in the size it specializes in. Would be very nice a bit larger (x100) at a decent price point though.
Interestingly the Rabbit R1 is not. Trying to keep up with all the new stuff is hard though. There is a lot of new stuff that I have not learned how to do yet.

A Knights Dress - I made armor only using fabric
This was a more experimental approach to dressmaking but so much fun. Also - I’ve seen some people say this would slay as a wedding dress, maybe in white, so
That’s exquisite!
That they managed to make a armour ballgown and not cup the breasts, when so many can’t working in metal makes me even happier
It would be interesting in a Tudor Style with a ruff gorget. Not sure how one would do the head armor though.
start at 16:53 for the faceted hearts like @evermorian Celtic Key Pattern Pepakura Heart , except edible.
Can I buy the egg already painted, and then splash water on it and feel accomplished? That’s some next level Easter Bunny stuff right there.
Unsurprisingly, her site is sold out of eggs. (At least the cool geometric ones. There is a really cool floral one out there still.)
It seems like this sort of thing (often grouped under pysanky) is ripe for revisiting with an eggbot (or any of the myriad DIY versions). Maybe an FDM 3D printing hot end could be adapted to put down wax, or maybe there is some other free-flowing resist that air dries (e.g., masking fluid)
I was bullish on trying something along those lines a few years ago, but got distracted.
Eggbot with a crayon?
Then maybe gently heat treated (baked) to set the wax?
Probably worth a try! They make colorless crayons for that sort of thing.
Do you even have clamps that big?
Speaking of @kelley1 this darning video is straight up magic to me.
I had no idea how this was done, I’m super impressed.
