Settings for Walnut, Maple and, Padauk

In response to a request for settings on my Wood Inlay Skull Pins post:

Maple and walnut, 1/8"/3mm: 195/full (Basic)
Padauk, 1/8"/3mm: 212/full (Basic)

Note from the original thread that I recommend testing each specific piece of wood to get optimized settings.

The PG settings for Medium Walnut & Maple Hardwoods are 193/full - I wonder if the difference would have been noticeable!
Obvi no PG setting for Padauk :smiley:

Probably not.

I think I started with PG settings (though this wasn’t PG materials) and, adjusted until it just got through. The main thing I was noticing was whether or not it was burning off the tip of my spirals (which were with the padauk).
