I’m so excited to start my glowforge journey. I do a lot of applique and wanting to use my spark to cut my fabrics. I’m currently working with sequin fabric (with a pink mesh on the backside) I’m having trouble getting my machine to cut through the fabric. It seems to cut through the actual sequins but not the backing. I even tried to mirror the image and cut it with the sequin side down with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on the settings I should be using?

What color is the fabric? The Spark has trouble with certain colors.

I kinda thought that could be it. The first one I tried to cut was gold sequins and a creamy light pink backside but then I also tried to cut a bright pink and the backside was also bright pink and it still did not cut.
