This is absolutely, positively NOT a 3D representation of a famous cartoon mouse. Nope. Why, it’s silly to even suggest it.
(That should keep the lawyers away… )

How fun! I’m a swing dancer, too! Haven’t done any dance inspired design yet though-- but I could tell that these were swing dancers before even reading your caption…
Nice job, are the stars cut all the way through?
Thanks. Yes I thought that would look cooler.

What kind ofmarkers do you use? These are beautiful.
Cool ornaments. I followed you Instagram, what kind of baked clay do you use that can be etched on the Glowforge?
I got the blank ornaments from Hobby Lobby.
Would someone be able to assist me with figuring out how to cut negative space like this? I’m still new when it comes to advanced designs with cutting.

Open the software and select your font, type out the name:

Select everything, click on Path > Object to Path.

Select everything, click on Path > Union.

Okay this is just a quickie in response to a question about how to do it…the customer wanted to create a name pendant in Affinity Designer:
Open the software and select your font, type out the name:
[AD1]
Select everything, right click and Convert to Curves.
Select everything, right click and Ungroup. Resize or shift the letters over so that they overlap at some point.
[AD2]
Select everything, right click, Geometry >Add.
[AD3]
Set the fill color to Null and give it a stroke …
