OK How about acrylic for the windows then also an edge lit LED “OPEN” sign engraved into the one closest to the door.

I’ll see what I can come up with. (Thought about acrylic for the windows but I hate to use up my stash on a prototype - that’s just done in “the material that shall not be named”.)

I love how this is developing… When you feel like adding a voltage tester, maybe the display should be shaped as a billboard above the diner?

Another great idea!

You guys keep coming up with these ideas and I’m gonna have to learn that Arduino stuff.

Billboard should read “Why Eat at Joe’s and get gas? The Niner Diner is Finer.”

I really want to see your historical work, especially the jewelry! Is it someplace online that I can check it out. Sounds awesome based on Jules comments.

Thank you!
That whole thread is packed with excellent examples of craft and skill.
I started it when I realized I found myself in the midst of a unique gathering of people unlike any forum I had ever participated in.
Without exception everyone here is inflicted with a creative itch that spans a spectrum of almost any professional discipline you can name, with a breadth of inspiration to match.
Jules passes out inspiration like it’s candy in her pocket. Drea does some of the most beautiful work I have ever seen, and karaelena has making down to a science, just to mention a few. Spend some time in that thread to be amazed at our community here.
