Down the road if regional qualified tube replacement becomes a consideration, An avenue to apply for training through your employee recruitment page might be a good idea.
The competent crowd here contains many who could be taught in the time it takes to witness a single tube replacement. I am one of them.

This is an affirmation of my already stated belief that, in general, people (including those at Glowforge) are good.
This response was pleasantly much quicker than I expected. It is also much better. It has led to us, the customers, having choices. Send it in or self repair.

Seriously, out of this we see a certified tubeoligist /repair tech program would be great. I could even see doing this as my main gig as they start leaving warranty.

I could as wellā¦ if I wasnt in the middle of BFEā¦ hahaha. As far as I know Iām the only GF buyer in a 3 hour radius, but Iām still down for certification just for my own benefitā¦ because I am a knowledge collector.

Thank you @dan or the quick response to the furor. Iām hopeful that by the time my tube needs swapped, Iāll need and have another 'forge for backup. Iāve stayed with you this far. Iād kick myself for not making it the last few inches. This thing is going to be AWESOME. I just canāt wait. And I have little doubt that the wait will have been worthwhile.

I drive slow. HAhahaha. According to the Glowforge buyer map which is voluntary, there are 3 people in Vegas that ordered. But since there are only 788 entries on the map out of 10,000 units, obviously not many are checking online communities.
