Hi, is there anyway to cut out words without purchasing glowforge premium? I simply want to type out a word in my design page and when I select the text icon it states I have to £200 to upgrade to premium! Any other way?

Just use an external program like Inkscape, Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Silhouette Studio, etc. Save the text as path then save the file as SVG, or better yet just save as pdf. Then upload to your Glowforge workspace. You could even do it in Powerpoint.
Forgot to mention Cuttle. A limited number of projects are free, and you can do connected text.
