As I am in Canada and we can’t (without assistance) get proof grade materials yet, I wanted to get cash instead, but I am stuck now being asked for a W-9 which, from Googling I understand would be illegal for me, as a non-murican, to supply.
What are the options?

It’s not just that I can’t fill it out, it is that it would be illegal to (tax fraud or somesuch). The form for USA tax payers only
