when i try to load a text it does not load

Are you talking about loading in text from a svg file or using the text option on the dashboard?

yes and now nothing is there now the beta is not showing up at all now

The GF UI can not process text (it never could.)

It has to be converted to paths for printing.

Or just use PDF instead of SVG. If a PDF file uses embedded fonts (which is common) then the Glowforge software will have access to the font and can render the text.

I have updated the software as requested. The workpsace changed to the beta version, which looks really exciting. I cannot upload any files though. It says rendering artwork, but never loads. No problems with my internet. Any suggestions?

Never mind, working now. don’t know why, lol but not going to question a good thing!!!

I’m sorry that you’ve run into trouble using the app after the update. Thank you for letting us know about this. So that we can investigate further, may we have your browser information?

Please do the following:

  1. Go to https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
  2. Click the link underneath “Share my system info with tech support”
  3. Copy the highlighted link
  4. Reply to this, and paste in the link provided

This will help us understand the circumstances around your error so we can work on it for you.
