I am trying to create a board where the person’s name is in the middle and I want to put acrylic inlay into the cut out name. Is the process the same as what you’ve shown here?
The adjustment for kerf would almost exactly the same. I’d test on some cheap materials first!
In addition, there are over 80 threads on dealing with kerf. Search is your friend.
This video was very helpful to me, the kerf section starts at 5:20.
