I know this has been discussed before but with Canadians finally getting their 'forges, I thought it’d be a good time to review things. So Canadians, where have you been buying your materials?
I know of Trotec’s site: www.engraving-supplies.ca
Any others?

Since it’s been discussed before, it’s helpful to link to the other threads you’ve read so that we know what’s come before and don’t spend time rehashing stuff. That’s why we have the forum, to prevent duplicate effort
I know Glowforge isnt shipping internationally yet but some Canadians have their machines ready. For those that don’t know where they are going to get materials I would take a good look at engraving-supplies.ca . They off a ton of awesome materials.
An account is required but a quick look shows they are cheaper than proofgrade stuff for lots of things. (23.5"x11.75" - 1/8 walnut ply for $15 cad). They also do $15 flat rate shipping and free shipping above $300.
They also have a bunch of local l…
I know there’s the Glowforge Map showing lots of people in Canada having GF’s, but it has had me wondering lately how many regular/semi-regulars are lurking in the forums. There’s a few people around my city, but it seems that by and large the hackerspaces around me most people only “know of” the 'forge. At some point I’d like to meet up and trade tips with others, but I’m wondering how far I’ll have to go… lol.

Hi,
Just wondering where Canadians buy their material, specifically acrylic sheet. (I’m in Quebec, BTW).
I’m also asking because I’m thinking of carrying 12x20 sheet laser proof material in my Amazon.ca store and was wondering if it’s worth it ( It should cost 60-70% of what PG costs, all considered.) good idea?
I was just poking around on that glass coasters site @chevalier_jeanpaul and @ballewdjr have shared, and discovered a whole bunch of other very interesting items under the Stone Coasters category. For example, they also have 6x12 plaques in three different types of stone, a whole category of slate craft plaques of various shapes and sizes, and black marble coasters that aren’t on the blank coasters page.
Excited I am! Now to find out if they ship to Canada.
