Lots of people have, you can find their threads with a quick search like this:

https://community.glowforge.com/search?q=Foamcore

Or this:

https://community.glowforge.com/search?q=Foam%20board

Take a look at those two searches and see if that answers your real question, whatever it may be. And if in the end you don’t find an answer come on back and ask whatever specific thing it is you’re after.

Just in case it’s settings, you might want to take a look at number six on this list, it teaches you how to find the perfect settings for pretty much any material including foam board.

I have cut a fair amount of foam board. This is the only piece I have for myself, the rest were all gifts. My 1/2 bath on the main level is all Western-themed. This is basic Walmart-sourced (I think Elmers?) foamboard with 335/full (Pro)

The piece above is almost 3’ wide, fwiw. I actually picked up the foamboard to test the passthru function when it was first released years ago, and this was one of those tests. I think this was 4 steps, but I am certain it’s the print that drove me to create the “shelf” that fills the gap between the front of the tray and the pass-thru slot, because all the little cut pieces made it hard to move the work piece forward. I have a thread on that, and that shelf is permanently part of my tray.

Same tray, new machine (they don’t ship out a new one with a refurb/replacement) -

It popped off once in all the years since, secured with E6000 I think.

I find it interesting that there are missing screws on the “seal” of the pass thru slot. I don’t think my original machine had them missing. Were there really that dramatic cost-savings to leave out two screws? They definitely weren’t just rolling around in the machine when I received it.

They aren’t missing. Those holes are for attaching the metal slot shields. It’s always been that way.

First thing I did was take off those covers. :man_facepalming:
