I want to cut 1.8mm poster board/cardstock, but im very unsure about settings for it, i have the first gen crowdfunding machine.

There are Proofgrade settings for 80# cardstock and for two sizes of corrugated cardboard. I suspect something inbetween the two would work. There is also a post with lots and lots of information here: Somewhat Comprehensive Testing of Settings for Cutting Paper and Cardstock
There is a lot of variety in card stock. It is worthwhile doing a material test to dial in settings for the particular stock you are using:
Note that actual settings for non-Proofgrade materials are supposed to be confined to the Beyond the Manual section. Let us know if you want us to move this discussion there.
Ditto to what they said - and an addition.
If you’re using the poster board with the foam core - the foam will pull away from heat - so you may end up with a concave cut in between the two pieces of paper on the outside. The faster/lower power you can go the better for that.
That looks like mat board.
Testing is gonna be the right solution but if you want to look up other peoples results I would search for mat board.
