Am I missing something here? I seem to get the discord channel open on every print. If I reprint the same item it stays hidden. I assumed this would set a cookie or something to remember the last choice but this doesn’t seem much different to the original version.
Hi @dapab - The new feature remembers the settings for each of your sessions. If you close out your window, the chat window will show up again, but if you don’t close out your window and start your print in the same session, the settings will remain the same and the chat window won’t show up again until the next time you close out your window and start a new session with a new window. Hope that explains the feature settings. Thank you!
But the chat box comes back when I print a new project after I have hidden it on a previous print. So it doesn’t appear radically different to the old method of having to hide the whole box (apart from that the large count down timer stays). What people were asking for was a permanent way of switching off discord if they wished.
Are there new snap guides? They are very strong all of a sudden. They work really well for simple symmetrical shapes, but I hardly ever have those. I have to zoom in to 600% or more before they weaken enough for me to put things where I want them.
