If you’re looking for feedback, I’d adhere to the glowforge cut order color scheme.

That’s great

For the first few years of :glowforge: ownership I had a file on my dashboard with all the basic shapes. Then they added basic shapes to the subscription.
This’ ability to pattern on those shapes is fabulous. I can see a lot of folks getting a lot of use out of it.

That is really cool. A lot of people are going to appreciate it.

It is worth mentioning a few things:

  • The other generators on the site are paid.
  • Generating things on this site requires an account.
  • The license on the resulting designs is fairly restrictive.
  • There is no mention of a privacy policy.

Definitely do your research.

You need to post a free laser design in this category

I’m pretty sure a free laser design generator passes the sniff test for the category.

I thought so too when I shared links to generators.

The ones he is sharing are free.

They just happen to be hosted on a site that also sells tools for other types of designs.

“Free”. Requires a subscription and your rights are restricted.

If you’re not paying for it you are the product.

Footnote: paying for the product does not keep you from also being the product.

Footnote post script: Paying for, and being the product, in no way implies that the product is free from defects.

It should also be noted, that I am probably not referring to the OP’s original product at this point.

In my case that’s a guarantee. I’m certainly not defect free and they’re getting what they pay for when I’m the product
