Engraving on cow hide

has any one engraved on cow hide? if yes can you please help me with settings

… and a lot more about leather, which is probably functionally equivalent.

Leather and cow hide are pretty variable. You would probably best be served by working out settings for the specific material you have. Number 6 can help you with that:
