Hey, I am having the worst luck. I just got my glow forge last week. I bought the glowforge medium acrylic in teal and pink. Cut the teal not the pink. Then ordered glitter sheets tried on grey glitter and black glitter sheets I ordered from Delvie’s Acrylic’s. The Glowforge website took me to. Neither worked. I don’t want to keep wasting money trying different acrylic sheets that don’t work. Thank you in advance.

The Aura is a diode laser. It cannot cut clear, white and many blue acrylics because of the wavelength of its laser. This would include most glitters and mirror acrylics since they are essentially clear. The pink you couldn’t cut was probably quite transparent - mostly clear. Many vendors have special sections for diode laser users that identify which of their products can be cut with diode lasers.

I only purchased one glitter sheet. The glitter pieces were mica and made a mess as they reflected the laser beam. I was using a pro. If you can find one of those little blue LED flashlights, you could use 1/16" wood or card stock.

It can’t cut pastel acrylics either.
