I had done the illustration a while back for a gothic rpg rule book and couldn’t get out of my head what a great mirror it would be. I need to work a bit more on the pattern to make the depths better would love advice. I used procreate and affinity designer
It’s fabulous!
The deeper the difference in shade the deeper you’ll get. Personally I’d make a few copies. Make the deepest parts pure black, the highest parts pure white, and then mess with the middles until you get as much detail with the fewest number of shades as you can manage.
Then run the 3D engrave on high LPI, and possibly multiple times.
Thank you. Every time I have tried to do a second going over it shifts and does not go over the same spot
If you have a cut, do not change anything! The image on your screen may change, but it will cut the same place every time. you can bring up the linear location if selected and write down those numbers, and those numbers are what rules, not what you see on the screen.
What you see on the screen is what the fisheye camera sees modified by complex math. That math is extremely sensitive to the height of what it is looking at. That is the main thing that Set Focus is used for.
Yes,fabulous. (Sorry for the repetition, but I couldn’t find a better word.) I was going to make a different kind of oval frame for a display piece, but I would do it this way if I knew how.)
Very nice. Looks great.

Also this is excellent advice:
There are two concepts here: contrast and dynamic range. I use curves the adjust my images to get both. If you’re unfamiliar with any of those three things I’d google around and take a look at #9 in my FAQ:
Oh also your frame reminds me of ornate cartouches:

I posted about them ages ago here:
Nice design.
On a somewhat unrelated subject, here’s a tip for anyone having trouble remembering how to spell Renaissance. Remember the tune for the Mickey Mouse Club song? Just sing it;
M - I - C — K - E - Y — M-O-U-S-E
R - E - N — A - I - S — S-A-N-C-E
