Made a few tequila gift boxes for Xmas gifts. Stained some left some raw. Need to figure out slide lid instead of just the slots. If anyone has any ideas I’d appreciate the advice.

When I got the pre-release machine the company gave me, I was completely new to CNC and lasers and experimented a lot with it. For me, it was like a treasure hunt. With the ability to control the power applied so precisely, I experimented with engraving a slot for a sliding lid. it took a lot of tests gradually upping the power until I solved it. It worked well, but soaping the edges for lubrication made it slide better.
