This may not be an appropriate question - and if it’s not, please disregard - but any chance you could share the Fusion 360 plans in addition to the SVG files? I find adjusting thickness, size, etc much easier in Fusion…
I’m not sure what is the best way of sharing it. I exported it to a f3d file. Hopefully you can import that somehow.
I also had to zip it to put it on this forum.
Let me know if that works for you.

If you wanted to seal the inner acrylic you can get acrylic glue with fuses the acrylic to itself. if you use a good line inside AFTER ASSEMBLY it should work. That stuff is available at TAPP Plastics
I can’t find the SVG. Can you help, please?
This is a great little box.
Right up there in the first post. It looks like this:

Ruth, that doesn’t show up on my computer like that. I get the “Here is the SVG (right click to save it.” but there is no image there.
That’s weird. I just downloaded and zipped it – try this one:

Thanks - I’ve missed you.
I’m rusty from being on the road so long.

cityscapes? I would love to see that, which you speak of!!
Here are a few – @polarbrainfreeze does awesome work!
I’ve been working on this one for the past year, and I finished it about 2 months ago. It’s been sitting in my garage waiting for the weather to get warmer so I can varnish it. I had to take it out this past weekend to photograph it for a juried show that’s coming up. It has suddenly become very timely.
I call it “Oblivious”. It’s a commentary on how we can sometimes live our lives while ignoring major problems around us.

I just finished my latest piece of art made with a GlowForge. It’s lacking a frame. But since I can’t go out right now to get materials, I won’t wait to get one to share this piece.

I titled it “The Storyteller”.
All the pieces are made of Baltic Birch, which were stained in different colors.
If you look on the side of the buildings, there are words engraved there.
The words all come from the text of “Arabian Nights”.

As discussed here, I’m doing a challenge of designing something new each day for 30 days (30 Days of Design Challenge )
Here is the design I made for day 28. It’s a piece of art, made from many pieces of baltic birch plywood, stained different colors.

To give you a sense of scale, this is me holding it:

I know the frame around it is not symetrical. It’s just the backer piece of wood. I’m going to make a nice frame for it next weekend (time permitt…
I’ve made laser-cut art in the past, but this is the first piece done completely on a GF.
After 100 hours of design (which was previously done before I got the GF)…
After 26 hours of cutting 47 individual 12x20 pieces of Baltic birch…
After 20 hours of staining individual pieces…
After 15 hours of gluing…
I give you the following piece of art:

I like this necrogame. I apparently didn’t come back after back to school night in 2018 to report on my progress. I made a bunch of these at the time, but I had kind of forgotten about it. I think I’ll dust it off again.
