We’ve already delivered to most of our international customers. EU orders are now being dispatched immediately and usually arrive in less than 15 business days! But some countries haven’t been approved for shipping, and we continue to work hard on getting them approved. We’re also hard at work on getting the shop (for Proofgrade sales) and the catalog (for designs) open to everyone, and recently finished some key infrastructure work to help us make that possible.
As the compliance and logistics clearing process moves faster or slower, we update forecasts for each country to match. International customers who haven’t received their unit can always find our most accurate shipping date forecast at glowforge.com/account. We continue to pour time and dollars into fulfilling our commitments to our international customers - I’m so sorry we haven’t finished shipping to every country yet.
Update 10/1/2018: The inspection went well this month; no changes to our shipping forecast.
Update 11/7/2018: We’ve been approved for Canadian shipments of Basic and Plus! Shipments are starting now.
Update 1/17/2019: We’ve shipped to all Basic and Plus customers in Canada, and are working to resolve Pro shipments.
Update 3/18/2019: No changes to our international schedule; things are progressing on track.
Update 4/17/2019: Slow processing of some compliance paperwork has impacted some countries delivery dates; glowforge.com/account reflects the best information we have right now.
Update 9/3/2019: Shipment notifications have gone out for Israel, Hong Kong, and New Zealand orders. If you’re in one of those locations and didn’t receive the email asking for your address to accept shipment, please go to https://glowforge.com/shipping. Australia shipments have started, but not completed on time. Please check glowforge.com/account for the current delivery forecast, and we’ll email you as soon as your unit is ready. All other countries’ schedules are unchanged.
I know how frustrating it is for those of you we haven’t yet delivered. There aren’t very many left, but that’s no help to those of you still waiting. I’m so sorry, and we’ll continue to work every day to get your Glowforge to you as soon as we possibly can.
One more thing: for all international customers who have Founders Discounts, we realize that you can’t use it yet since the shop and catalog are not yet available internationally. We’ll extend your discount to make sure you can make use of it.
